Because of the increased complexity of commercial lending and pressure from bank regulators, community banks and thrifts need specialized expertise that they may not have internally.

 

Reliable was formed to provide that expertise by offering a complete line of financial consulting services in a more economical and effective program than that being offered by the larger consulting firms.

 

We have seen firsthand how smaller community banks and thrifts were not getting the “biggest bang for their buck” when it came to using outside consultants.  We have worked with Executive Management and Directors who were frustrated by being forced to accept “C-Team” performance from the large firms at “A-Team” prices.  In many cases, the work product was just something to paper the files and carried little or no meaningful value.  We saw much of the expense going to cover the consultant’s overhead, with “trainees” performing most of the work, resulting in errors and critical issues being overlooked.
